Submit to Marketing Channels

The Woo Product Feed Manager generates product feed files that you need to manually submit to your preferred channels. Woo Product Feed Manager does not provide direct API connections to marketing platforms. Instead, you will need to submit the feed file URL to the merchant center of each channel manually. This should be done only once.

Finding Your Product Feed URL

There are three ways to retrieve the product feed URL:

  1. Feed Editor: Click the “View Feed” button and copy the URL from your browser’s address bar.
  2. Feed list: Find the URL in the URL column.
  3. Feed list: Click the “View” link under the “Actions” column and copy the URL from your browser’s address bar.

Use this URL to submit your product feed to marketing platforms like Google Merchant Center, Facebook Catalog, and other channels.

Different Channel Requirements

Each marketing channel has its requirements and methods for uploading product feeds. Before submission, ensure your feed meets the platform’s specifications, such as:

  • File format (XML, CSV, TXT)
  • Required product attributes (title, price, availability, etc.)
  • Category mapping guidelines

Refer to the respective channel’s documentation to confirm their feed requirements.

Submitting Your Feed

After obtaining your feed URL, follow these general steps to submit it to different platforms:

  • Google Merchant Center: Go to the “Settings & tools” icon, select “Data sources,” and choose “Scheduled fetch.” Provide the feed URL and set the fetch frequency.
  • Facebook Catalog: In Business Manager, navigate to “Catalogs,” add a data source, and use the feed URL.
  • Other Channels: Log into their respective merchant center, look for a product feed upload option, and paste your feed URL.

Scheduling Feed Fetching

To keep your product information up-to-date, schedule automatic feed fetching within the merchant center of each channel. This ensures that any updates or changes in your WooCommerce store are reflected without manual intervention. Setting up scheduled fetching helps avoid discrepancies between your store and the marketing channel.
